Can I let you in on a little secret? My session with Krista and Conner was one of my all-time favorites. I know, I’ve said that before. But this time, I literally just had to walk out my back door and into this session. I really love the fields behind my house and I was so glad to be able to shoot a couple there! Ottawa summers are really some kind of magic. We had a beautiful night walking around private, wildflower-filled fields.

I actually grew up on the Rideau, just a few minutes from her family cottage via boat, so this session was right up my alley! We spent most of our time together down by the lakes on the dock. We all love being by the water so it just made sense!

It was also the third time I got to see him in it so I can't even explain how nice it was to just even hug him. Read MoreTaylor + Grant had to postpone their 2020 wedding due to COVID. They were very disappointed, obviously, but looked on the bright side and saw it as an opportunity to save more wedding money, meaning they were able to raise their photography budget and hire me! Yay!!
Read MoreEveryone, meet Broc and Brittany! They are some of the kindest, most fun people I’ve had the pleasure of working with! I really loved getting to know them and being able to capture their fun personalities! Truthfully, they made my job so easy. I’m so lucky to work with such awesome clients. Broc and Brittany have such a cute love story! They met at the Heart and Crown in Barrhaven. Brittany says that Broc caught her eye because he was dancing with an older lady while her husband was off dancing. It instantly melted Brittany’s heart!

They had a gorgeous summer wedding at a golf club in Carleton Place, Ontario. Laura and Josh had to change their plans quite a bit due to COVID, but their day ended up being wonderful.

These two have both been competitively drag racing since they were very young (he was 6 when he started and she was 13!) and sort of knew each other off and on through the competitions. During the 2018 racing, they quickly hit it off and fell madly in love with one another.

These two pulled off a “mini” wedding that was an absolute delight for me to capture. The wedding was held in Jamie’s parents’ backyard in Brockville, Ontario which made for a significant and sentimental setting.
