One true love
Joelle + Samuel are two of the kindest people I have ever met in my life! They suit and balance each other so well and are so nice to everyone around them. Their engagement session was my first engagement in 2020, and I’m so glad they trusted me again with capturing their wedding!
This couple met when Joelle moved from Quebec City to Ottawa without any friends or family nearby. Funny enough, Joelle thought Samuel was out of her league! They talked for a few months before Samuel asked her out but she felt like he was the one to say yes to! They both said that after their first date, they just knew they were meant to be together. How romantic!
As an Ottawa wedding photographer, it is no secret that Stonefields Estate is one of my favourite venues! They were able to have their outdoor wedding on a beautiful September day.
We started the morning in the Stonefields Bridal House where Joelle got ready with her bridesmaids, mom, and mother-in-law. Samuel had a new bracelet delivered for Joelle just moments before she stepped into her wedding dress! Samuel and his groomsmen looked so handsome in their Harry Rosen suits. The guys had a quick prayer together before heading to the ceremony—so sweet!
Joelle and Samuel had such a heartfelt ceremony….once it finally began, LOL. They accidentally forgot their marriage certificate at home, but an absolute angel went to pick it up for them so the day could go off without any more issues! Their vows were emotional and beautiful.
Even with a limited guest count, their wedding reception was overflowing with love. They decorated the venue beautifully! I mean, check out that incredible greenery behind the head table!
Their reception was full of laugher, love, and happy tears. Joelle and Samuel’s families clearly love them so much as individuals and as a couple. It was a perfect ending to a memorable wedding day!
