A Dreamy Backyard Wedding on a Horse Farm

Leah and Matt’s wedding day was so elegant and dreamy! And the best part of it all, it was at Matt’s parents house where they run a horse farm! The location is so important for Leah and Matt so it was awesome that they were able to have their special day here. Leah and Matt put everything together themselves and it was PERFECTION! They did such a great job with every little detail. The sunset photos that we captured at night are amazing and I can’t wait for you to see!

L + M’s Love Story

“Matt and I have been together for 6.5 years. We own and operate a horse farm boasting 25-30 horses depending on the time of year. We ride together, live together and run our business together. Our relationship is unique, we share a passion for our sport. I would like to say it really shows in our relationship.”

“Hmm "how did we meet"... That is a tricky one and it would absolutely depend on which one of us you asked. Both Matt and I grew up riding horses in the Ottawa area so have always "known" each other. Matt is a tad older (7 years) and has always been one of the single - straight - attractive males that ride. But with him being a little older I always had quite the crush on him and not a lot of courage to actually strike up a conversation. Needless to say we started chatting at a local Christmas banquet (2013) and kept in touch after that first real conversation. Later in spring of 2014 we went on our first date.”
