Pinhey’s Point - A Favourite Engagement Location in Ottawa!

Pinhey’s Point has quickly became one of my favorite locations to shoot engagements in Ottawa. It has ample amounts of opportunities and gorgeous backdrops for your pictures. It has a beautiful open field, old buildings, trails, a lake and more! The sun sets right over the field, the water is swimmable and trees are always so full of lush greens! Making it the perfect place for your playful engagement session for summertime.

Caroleen and Kyle’s Love Story | A Summer Engagement Session in Ottawa

“Kyle and I met in 2016 through mutual friends. We started to get to know each other throughout the year and then joined the same softball team that summer, then we started dating in August of 2016. We have been engaged since August of last summer. He planned a full day downtown Ottawa for our 5 year anniversary. We stayed at the Andaz, had dinner on the rooftop and then we’re able to watch a firework show from the window of our suite. We had music playing while we were watching the fireworks and then after the finale is when he got down on his knee and proposed!”

It was so fun being able to capture Caroleen and Kyle’s engagement pictures! They were so laid back and go with the flow. I love that they also read my engagement style guide and included two outfits!
