After the crazy couple of years we’ve all experienced with the pandemic, joyful occasions tend to feel more joyful. And whenever there is a sense of normalcy, it is quite literally a breath of fresh air! We have felt that to the greatest extent in the wedding industry, and as an Ontario wedding photographer, I can say that a return to normal weddings has felt so right! After a couple of years of postponements and restrictions, it was wonderful to be able to celebrate summer weddings in a more normal fashion. Anne Marie and Gab’s Evermore Weddings and Events wedding perfectly epitomized this!
Gab an Anne Marie are the sweetest pair! They are a young Romanian couple, so it was fun to see the way in which they honored their shared heritage and more importantly, their love. Their July wedding at Evermore was flawless. After starting the day with getting ready portraits for bride (and groom!) in their respective suites at Evermore, we departed for the church for their ceremony. Their church provided a stunning backdrop for this Ontario wedding ceremony, with ornate artwork, Romanian flags, and other tributes to their heritage and religion present. The ceremony was sentimental and a beautiful start to their marriage.
We returned to the venue for more Evermore Events and Weddings photography! This is one of my favorite venues to work at for so many reasons. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the grounds are picture perfect at all times. It makes my job so much easier to have so many stunning options for portrait locations! And Anne Marie felt the same way about the venue. She stated how she was particular about wedding details and photography, so I truly feel honored that she chose me to photograph her big day!
We took advantage of the beautiful fields and divine golden hour light to capture their formal wedding portraits at Evermore Events and Weddings, and I love how they turned out! Gab and Anne Marie looked absolutely perfect in their chosen apparel, and it’s so easy to feel their happiness in their formal photos! We finished off the night with a joy-filled tented reception, where we were able to enjoy the festivities alongside the views of a beautiful sunset. The day was truly a breath of fresh air and so wonderful to be a part of!
