Sarah + Neil: 10 Years in The Making!
I am so excited to share another winter engagement session in Ottawa with you today! My wedding season is booked full of incredible couples and events, and it’s so fun to be able to share these various engagement sessions with you all as we wait for anticipation for wedding season to hit with full force! One of the best parts of engagement sessions is getting to know my couples and help them get comfortable in front of the camera before their wedding day. It’s always so great to have a rapport with my clients before their wedding day festivities begin, and getting to know Sarah and Neil was wonderful, as usual!
We met up for their engagement session at the Watson’s Mill at Manotick in February and had the best time playing in the snow and capturing gorgeous images, despite the cold temperatures! I love that they brought their sweet rescue pup, Max, along for the photographs to show off every member of the family. Is there anything better than two love birds and their furbaby?!
Sarah and Neil have been together for so long—nearly a decade, and it’s so obvious how comfortable they are with each other in these images. In fact, they’ll be celebrating their tenth anniversary the month of their wedding! How amazing is that?! For a couple with such a great history, they are so relaxed and chill and just so happy together. Their proposal happened at their home on what would’ve otherwise been a normal weekday, but now they have the excitement of a forthcoming wedding and life together to look forward to!
I loved their cute knit hats and the blanket they brought to their snowy session, and the details on Sarah’s ring are just perfect! I can’t wait for their Strathmere 2017 wedding!
