The Princess + Her Cowboy

You all remember these two’s sweet love story from their countryside Ottawa engagement session!

Well, I am so excited today to share with you the second part of Jessica and Kirk’s love story—their fairytale Stonefields wedding from this fall! It was amazing to get to meet up with them again and photograph their gorgeous wedding; it’s definitely one of my fave weddings to date! It was literally a princess-meets-cowboy situation, and I couldn’t be happier to share their images with you all!

Jessica and Kirk’s wedding day was absolutely bursting with joy. In nearly every photograph, they’re beaming; that bridal glow is real, you guys! They had friends and family from across the country come to join in their celebration, which was a highlight for everyone involved. Since Kirk is from Calgary, a large number of guests came from out west, which made the celebration that much more special {and rowdy}!

They tied in so much of their personalities to the styling, décor, and apparel choices, which always makes a wedding more personal and memorable. This country-inspired Ottawa wedding had more classy cowboy boots and hats than I’ve ever seen! Jessica looked absolutely stunning in her flowy ball gown, which had such dreamy lace details on the bodice and the perfect sweetheart neckline. Her romantic updo and soft makeup tied the look together absolutely perfectly. And Kirk looked dapper in his black and white cowboy attire. And their bridal party complimented the whole look, with the bridesmaids in deep purple dresses (and cowboy boots!) and the groomsmen carrying on the dapper cowboy look.

We were given the most excellent lighting for the ceremony and portraits, and you can’t ask for more than that for an outdoor wedding in September! And their reception was filled with lots of laughter, happy tears, sneaky kisses, and raucous dancing.
