Devon and Ryan got to exchange their vows in an intimate backyard ceremony surrounded by their closest friends and family. Their wedding decor was so light and fresh, filled with greens, whites and blues! The perfect addition to this bright and sunny August day wedding. A Dreamy Backyard Wedding in Ottawa for Devon and Ryan

Devon began the day getting ready at her parents home. We then headed to the Windward House in Carp, which was a treat! I've never been there before and I hope to go again. They offer their property for venues that don't have photo locations on site. The couple did a first look, bridal party formals and family formals, then we headed to their house where the couple hosted a backyard wedding behind their newly renovated home that they did together. They had Heirloom events put together the reception and it looked great. They also had Dark Horse Mobile Bars serve drinks and they included a champagne wall. The couple spent cocktail hour mingling with their friends and family as their formals were already done. Then reception!! :) Lots of laughs during a bridesmaid + best mans speech, and lots of tears during Devon's sisters speech as she was unable to attend last minute!
