The Special Moments from Samantha and Dean’s Ottawa Wedding

I’ve shot Samantha, Dean and their daughter Kendall 3 times and watching them all interact melts my heart! Since we’ve all gotten to know each other so well over our sessions, we are now friends and Samantha is actually my hair dresser now! So not only are we business friends, but real life friends as well.

Sam got ready at Fika Beauty Salon which is where she works, and where I now get my hair done! We then went to her moms house to get dressed. Kendall wore the dress Samantha wore during her parents wedding! How adorable. There wasn't a dry eye during their ceremony. I was literally sobbing and did my best to make it not noticeable but I was so chocked up! Dean presented not only Samantha with vows and a wedding band, but Kendall as well!! He said vows to her and gave her a candy ring pop!! They did their first dance right after their grand entrance and Kendall even ran in to join. The speeches were another moment that caused tears through out the reception - they were amazing! A fun and uplifting moment was when they played “Couple Jeopardy” with the bridal party to kick off the reception dance floor. It really was such a fun way to end the night!
