Here at Chelsea Mason Photography, we are a family of young high spirited photographers! As you know, I, Chelsea Mason am the owner of the company and have amazing photographers who work as a second photographer for me. They have been working with me for multiple years and I have nothing but wonderful reviews about them! They are all professionally trained, educated in the field and would love to be apart of your special day!
If you are working within a tight budget, or I am already booked, I offer my associate photographers ( of your choice ) to come document your wedding; But leave the editing up to me! I am also the photographer of your complimentary engagement session! :)

The desire to become a photographer came to me one summer while on vacation. I binge watched the show “One Tree Hill” and really connected with a character who happened to be a photographer. She lived by the quote “It’s all about finding the magic in unexpected places” and it struck a chord in me. The next day I picked up the point and shoot camera I had brought on vacation and started my journey. The decision to focus on wedding and engagement photography came naturally to me over time as I have always been a hopeless romantic and I am a sucker for a great love story. Upon finishing high school, I completed a 2 year photography program at La Cité Collégiale in Ottawa {yay for being also bilingual!}, where I took my skill and knowledge of photography to the next level before pursuing my career as a wedding photographer!

Hey! I’m Rachael and I love photographing love stories, old & new.
I live with my husband and our three wild, beautiful children and three fur babies in the outskirts of Ottawa where they can all run free. I’m always up for an adventure and love travel, a good party, great food (eating, though not so much cooking), sunsets and long talks with friends. My babies are my greatest inspiration and I find such beauty in the ins and outs of my happy little life with them. And of course, I try to photograph every delightful moment of it. After becoming a mama, I found myself feeling so desperate to cling onto those fleeting little moments in time, making them mine forever, but sadly that’s not how it works so I decided to pick up a camera and learn my way around that big, clunky thing and the rest is history. My passions are these: creativity, people, and storytelling. And in photography, I happened to find the perfect marriage of those things.
I want my photos to feel beautiful, artistic, and genuine, inspired by my clients personalities and love for each other. My style is clean, bright and classic.

Hello! My name is Mackenzie! I love keeping active, travelling, spending time on the lake and of course, photography. I shot my first wedding with Chelsea 6 years ago and have been working for her ever since. I have not only learned so much from Chelsea, but she has become my best friend and the big sister I never had. In the past few years, I have had some amazing experiences being able to travel to New York, Halifax and Mexico with Chelsea for weddings. I absolutely love shooting weddings- the happiness and love that are shared on that day, is what makes my job so incredible. I will put everything I have into making your day perfect by capturing all your precious moments. I would be honoured to be part of your special day and I cannot wait to see what 2019 has to bring!

Hi! I am Brittany! If I'm not holding my camera I am most likely binge watching the latest Netflix series, outside enjoying the sunshine, or spending some quality time with friends and family! I am one of those people that loves to sit down, look through old photo albums, and feel like I am right back in that moment of time. That's what drew me into photography! I love being able to capture precious moments for you and your family to look back on and share with future generations. There's no better feeling than stumbling across a photo from days, months, or even years ago and remembering it like it was yesterday! I didn’t choose photography, photography chose me. It was through looking at an old album with my grandma, that I realized the power of a photograph. A photograph is a vessel that can take you through time, a reminder of the fleeting memories that are shared between a husband and wife. A wedding is full of moments, moments that will leave you with three constants in your life: the rings, the vows and the photographs.

Hey all! I'm Sandra. I'm an old lady at heart. In my spare time I crochet, knit and quilt under the name Fraid Knot. I love hanging out with my friends and family outside no matter the time of year. I'm a dog mom to two crazy pups named Luna and Levi and love spending time with them at the park and just lounging around the house. I was born and raised in the Outaouais, so je parle français aussi!
In 2011 I started working for a local wedding photographer as a second shooter and I fell in love with capturing the love between two people. After finishing my degree in photojournalism at Loyalist College, I started shooting weddings on my own in 2013 and continue to love every minute of it. I love incorporating my knowledge of photojournalism into my weddings. From meeting a couple for the first time and hearing about the plans they have for their special day, to seeing the love between them explode on their wedding day, it makes me so excited!
My favourite thing about photography is being able to tell someone’s story through pictures and seeing things in a way that others may not.
