This April I did something I’ve been literally dreaming of doing for a few years now. I decided to finally host a group workshop in my home for photographer wanting to grow their photography business!

The workshop was divided into two sections: the education portion and the real bride + groom session. My eight wonderful students spent SEVEN hours learning all about the business and education side, and then put their new knowledge to work at the real bride + groom session afterwards!

The session took place at the gorgeous Stonefields Estate in Carleton Place where we took advantage of their new chapel! Keeping in mind that it was April, it was VERY cold outside, so their indoor option was perfect! There tons and tons of styling stations set up where the students practiced their lay flats {invites, florals, etc}, a bride and groom ready for an indoor session, and then finally we all braved the cold to grab a handful of outdoor images.
