Intimate City Wedding at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa

Emilie and Jon's intimate downtown wedding at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa was a beautiful and romantic celebration of their love! Surrounded by the stunning architecture of the NAC, the couple exchanged their vows in front of their closest family and friends, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that was filled with joy and happiness. Every detail of the day was carefully planned to make sure that Emilie and Jon's wedding was a truly unforgettable experience. I loved being able to capture their special day and I can’t wait for you to see how it turned out!

Romantic Moments From This City Bliss Wedding

Emilie and Jon actually booked me just weeks before their wedding! And because I took an easier year in 2022 due to me just having my daughter, I had their date available. Sounds like fate to me! They were having communication issues with their original photographer and I am so thankful that they reached out to me. There were so many special moments in Emilie and Jon’s wedding and having their daughter Ava be there was definitely at the top! Both Emilie + Jon got ready at Lord Elgin Hotel downtown Ottawa, located directly across from the NAC. They got ready in separate rooms so they didn’t see each other.

The ceremony took place in the Lantern Room which is the NAC's luxury ceremony location, with floor to ceiling windows! It was beautiful. After the ceremony we hopped over to the Fairmont Chateau Laurier Hotel to take advantage of their gorgeous stone terrace that overlooks the Ottawa river and Canadas Parliament Buildings. Downtown luxury at it’s finest. The reception was in the NAC's O'Born reception room. Again, filled with floor to ceiling windows for the gorgeous views of Ottawa. The NAC also has a rooftop that is PERFECT for sunset!! We snuck the couple out during the reception for a quick 5-10 minutes of sunset formals, despite there being no sunset! But they still turned out great and the rooftop at the NAC is my favorite part so I couldn’t resist!
